Doping - Skander Souayah (Tunisia) banned for 6 months

Zürich, 23 July 2002 - FIFA's Disciplinary Committee has suspended the Tunisian player Skander Souayah from any football game, either official or friendly, national or international, for a duration of 6 months, starting as from 8 May 2002.

This sanction results from a doping control made after the friendly international game Tunisia-Norway (27 March 2002 in Tunis) when the player tested positive for a prohibited substance.

The player is also fined 10 000 CHF.
