PRELIMINARY COMPETITION

The draw for the CONCACAF World Cup '98 Qualifying Tournament of all potential pairings from the Caribbean Zone was completed January 20, 1996 at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

(+) NOTICE: 29 January, 1996: The Bahamas Football Association as well as the Bermuda Football Association have notified FIFA of their withdrawal from the 1998 World Cup preliminary competition. The FIFA Organising Committee for the World Cup will be informed accordingly.
