Venues

Daegu

Daegu is the third largest city in Korea and the geographic focus of the south eastern part of the peninsula. Historically known for its thriving textile industry, today Daegu is also striving to become a major industrial and commercial centre.

Daegu is a city boasting a rich and varied cultural past, having inherited magnificent relics from Ancient Shilla and Kaya Dynasties.

The matches will be played at the 70,140-seater Daegu Sports Complex Stadium, which has been specifically designed to blend modern architecture with natural surroundings.

Ulsan

Located on the southeastern coast of the Peninsula, Ulsan has traditionally been the gateway for trade within Korea. A powerhouse of Korean industry, the city boasts the greatest shipbuilding capacity in the world, and is home to numerous leading petrochemical companies in addition to the Hyundai Motor Company.

In terms of leisure, Ulsan also has a long-standing commitment to football with over 200 soccer clubs registered in the city.

The matches will be played at the Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium, which comprises 43,003 seats.

Suwon

Suwon with the population of one million is located one-hour drive away from Seoul, the capital city of Korea. As a city with culture and history, Suwon is a center for digital business which is a high-tech industry in the 21st century. It has also unlimited potential with traffic networks running in all directions.

Suwon is also a city of history having a beautiful fortress Hwaseong which was designated as World Culture by UNESCO, and hence, a place where classic and modern cultures are well harmonized.

In recognition of the city's unique blend of past and present, the Suwon World Cup Stadium (seating capacity 43,344) utilizes a design which harmonizes the history of the ancient city of Suwon with hi-tech architecture.
