Bulajic to miss Euro qualifier due to knee injury

LJUBLJANA, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Slovenia defender Spasoje Bulajic has been sidelined from Saturday's Euro 2004 qualifier against European champions France in Paris because of a knee injury.

The FSV Mainz defender has strained knee ligaments, team doctors said late on Wednesday, and Slovenia coach Bojan Prasnikar has brought Koper's Bekim Kapic into the squad as cover.

But Bulajic is expected to be replaced by Maribor defender Fabijan Cipot in Saturday's starting lineup.

Slovenia beat Malta 3-0 in their opening group one qualifier last month.
