Effective planning underpins the success of any organisation, and football federations, clubs and other administrative bodies are no exception.
In October of this year, The Football Association will conduct an International Football Administration Workshop for the first time. Open to overseas delegates with responsibility for football administration, the workshop will focus on a wide range of elements that contribute to the successful management of a national football association and the strategic development of the game.
Topics include:
- Strategic Planning
- Human Resources
- Finance
- IT
- Marketing & Sponsorship
- Communications & PR
The workshop will run from 21-25 October 2002 at the Burleigh Court Conference Centre, Loughborough, England. Delegates should have a good command of the English language, as the course will be conducted in English only.
In addition to the 5-day seminar programme, visits will be arranged to a match, a club academy and to a County Football Association. The £500 fee includes accommodation, meals, use of facilities at Burleigh Court, as well as the match ticket and delegate pack. The fee is subsidised by The FA’s International Development Programme, assisting the development of the game of football around the world.
