Hajto, Zielinski back in Poland squad for Euro qualifier

WARSAW, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Poland coach Zbigniew Boniek has called up experienced defenders Tomasz Hajto and Jacek Zielinski for the European Championship qualifier against Latvia on October 12.
Schalke 04's Hajto and Legia Warsaw's Zielinski have not played for the national team since Poland's poor showing at the World Cup after which Hajto made a public apology for his performances. Boniek also called up Iraklis Saloniki striker Marcin Mieciel for the qualifier.
Poland are also grouped with Sweden, Hungary and San Marino in qualifying group four for Euro 2004, which will be held in Portugal.
